A peculiar image of nature is hidden in the name Andhra. Andhra Pradesh is a province or state of southern India. The tract of the state might be divided mainly into three parts. These are as (1) Andhra Region (2)Telengana Region and (3) Royal Seema Region. The coastal plainland is called Andhra.

It was normal to name by sailors the coastal region as Andhra according to the word Andha. Here Andha means darkness that is absence of light. It is to remind that the tract situated between the Iravati and Chandrabhaga rivers was called Madra or Madrak in ancient. The matter might be written as follows:-

Andha (Dark) > Andhrak > Andhra
In course the language Telugu devloped and the word Andhra changed as Aandhra There are three mountain named Kaleshwar, Srisail and Bhimeshwar in Telengana Region. The three mountains unitely called Trimahakallinga. The possible changes are as below :-
Trimahakallinga > Trikallinga
Trikallinga > Trilinga> Tilinga
Tilinga > Telengana (Tract of Tilinga)
Tilinga > Telugu (Language)
